August 25, 2011 marks the 10 year anniversary of Aaliyah's passing (1979-2001). Aside from being one of my favorite artists of all time, Aaliyah Dana Haughton was such a beautiful and talented woman all around (recording artist, actress and model). I am posting this small tribute in memory of her great style, beauty, talent, passion, poise and presence.
I have to say that the main reason I love long black hair so much stems from my love for Aaliyah... Not only that, but I definitely tried to pull off the side-swept bangs covering one eye too. It never seemed to work out as well as it did on her.
Aaliyah was without a doubt, One In A Million.
