WOW, Anne Hathaway!

How amazingly striking does Anne Hathaway look in this shoot for Glamour Magazine? WOW! I think she looks fabulous! Her short hair has definitely grown on me and the outfits for the shoot added just enough glamour to her look. I really am a big fan of Anne's in general. She seems like such a humble and down to earth individual. Check out her interview here to see for yourself!

Joan for Vogue Turkey

This girl can do no wrong. She is the most popular model of the moment, and has been my personal favorite for a few years. Joan Smalls graces the cover of Vogue Turkey for their December issue wearing Dolce & Gabana. Joan was photographed by Cüneyt Akeroglu with styling by Ece Sukan and looks absolutley fab!

I would like to more than ever...

New York will always have my heart. Happy Friday everyone!

Wedding Chic: Miami Style!

Peplum Dress: Banana Republic
Teal Earrings: Banana Republic
Cheetah Heels: W Shoes
This past weekend, I attended my beautiful cousins wedding at The Palm Hotel in Miami! It was a gorgeous celebration full of family, friends and amazing food. And the decor of her wedding was perfect for our South Florida weather.
Now about my outfit! When I went shopping, I had not planned anything in my mind that I wanted to buy. We all know that when you envision an outfit in your head and then get to the store, they never have exactly what you had envisioned, which can be such a dilemma. So I went to the mall with an opened mind and not a clue of what to buy.
My last stop was Banana Republic, and thank goodness because I was not having luck at any other store. I saw this black peplum dress right when I walked in a knew I needed to try it on. It is from their new collection and looked extremely versatile; something that I always look for in an outfit. After trying it on, I knew this dress was great for an occasion like a wedding, but also has the ability to be dressed down for a more casual look for work, while still being extremely chic!
Once I tried on the dress, I had "envisioned" a green pair of chandelier earrings, and lucky for me, Banana Republic has this STUNNING pair displayed in their jewelry section. Oh and the best part, everything in the store was 30% off so I was definitely purchasing both the dress and earrings. For my shoes, I opted for a cheetah heel that I wore with the dress seen in this post from my trip to Puerto Rico (sorry, I did not photograph them before).
All in all, I think this look came together perfectly. I am extremely happy with my purchases and I was very comfortable during the wedding. Now I have a beautiful peplum "LBD" that is multi-functional and great for many different affairs; plus a striking pair of teal earrings that I know I will get a lot of use out of.

DIY: Collage On A Budget!

Before
After
The Final Product!

I wanted to find a way to personalize my bedroom, but I was on a budget so I had to get creative. I had taken so many beautiful photos from when I studied abroad in Bordeaux and Paris, so I thought, why not put these photos to good use and display them! I went to Ross and purchased various frames in all different colors and sizes. Each frame cost me about $5, which was a great bargain! Then I went to Home Depot and bought white spray paint to make all the frames look more uniform. I then had all my photos printed at Walgreens and ta-da! A beautiful new collage that is personal and reminiscent of my time abroad. This project cost me about $60 total, and I love the outcome!
